In the last few months, I managed to work more on the game design and some new modes and features. Here is a list of all the major changes and improvements.
New gunship model
The gunship model has been reworked entirely. It now has more of a traditional spaceship look.
Cockpit view
The front view has been replaced by an internal view of the cockpit. It looks nicer, doesn't it?
Multiplayer PvP
The game now has PvP multiplayer! It only offers a deathmatch mode at the moment. There are two maps, and up to 8 players can play on the same map. Keep in mind that the mode is in pre-alpha stage. Major issues are to be expected.

VR Mode
A new VR mode will be added soon. It will support SteamVR with mouse & keyboard controls.
And much more
I improved a lot more visual aspects, like the HUD and post-processing. I redesigned some maps, improved general performances, tuned the gameplay and more! If you'd like to try it, an Early Access version is available on Steam here (Or you can just wishlist the game if interested).
