OreSome is a 2D strategy game about ore -- exploring space for it, fighting aliens for it, blowing up planets with it. Build a network of frames and bots to defeat your enemies -- or just throw a sun at them. In a dying, decrepit universe full of foes, build up your forces and mine your way to the top of the food chain to explore further and further out into the void. By the time you're ready, you'll be powering light speed jump drives with stars, building Death Star style super weapons with black holes and in charge of the largest scale mining operation ever known to man -- all working for one of humanity's least scrupulous corporations -- and there's a lot of competition.

There's a few things currently being worked on, mainly bug fixes and improving the help system, but what about after that? What would you like worked on first?

There's a few options, including:

More main missions/dungeons
Mini-missions/ points of interest to make the universe feel fuller
More tech/frames to use
Improved AI
More bases and ship designs for the AI to use
Or other stuff.

If you've any particular thoughts or requests, it would be great to hear it.

Personally I would like widescreen support (1920x1200). I mean it runs fine fullscreen with 1920x1080. Although I have black borders all around with 1920x1080, which is odd cause of the 1920 should cover the width.

I love the messages part, but I feel that what is called quests is often journal like. If I finish a puzzle or do the things in the tutorial missions, there is nothing I specially get for it, nor does the mission ever seem to go away.

Widescreen support I can do easily. The mission should lead to other parts - if you go into the journal and double click the journal item, it sets it as your current mission and will lead you to the next mission n the chain. Some kind of loot chest might be sensible though - even though the dungeons have other rewards in them scattered around, there probably ought to be some kind of completion reward.

I would like there to be Improved AI as well as more tech and frames to use you more bases and ships for the AI would be good as well.

AI improvements would be very cool, for example automated mining operations like breaker bots could search only for special ores, mine them and drop of their ore in a near storage or refinery. then patrol lines for fighters to protect those miners or anything else. it also would be helpful if the bots could automatically refuel themselves with ores but for now it would be nice if for example my fresh bought breaker bot then set to auto-mining would not just simply fly into the next star when it sees ore behind it :)

and for frames it would be nice to be able to change the welding spots from the default rotating to be fixed so they don't wildly spin around each other.

i am looking forward to future changes.

right click the points when you have the 'weld hardpoints' research, they'll then be fixed

oh thanks that was my fault,

Definitely needs auto-mining improvements, in my perspective. A lot of the time, the bot's mining missilethingy just flies over the planet and gathers no ore, making the bot target the same position over and over again and I'd need to manually move it to fix the problem. Along with this, the bot should decelerate more before braking and should also stay parked for a few seconds before going off again for more ore. This is because currently, the bot wildly flies and crashes into my siphoner, only to quickly dash off again before all of the ore can be extracted.

Also, I'd suggest some kind of speed control, perhaps a slider off to the side that will limit your maximum speed for precise flying.

The auto-mining improvements you mention are something I've been meaning to get to for a while. I may well bump it up the list a bit, considering how useful they would be.
