In 1942, the greatest minds in America were brought together for a secret project- an atomic super weapon. A bomb which could instantly end the war in the Pacific. That project failed. The only alternative to defeat Japan was to launch the largest concentrated amphibious assault in history, codenamed Operation Downfall.
