Omega Sector is a online pvp open sandbox game. It takes elements from Halo, Homeworld, Eve online, etc. So far the beginner world of the Terran alliance is in closed alpha and only a handful of people can test this game until the game is at a more playable stage. When the game reaches 50% of completion I will release an open beta for players to connect to the world and help balance the game. Then from there I will take in everyone's comments via email and try to balance out the gameplay a bit more. Right now the player limit is 32 but I have not had that many people on at one time so when I feel comfortable having 32 random people I will post a demo up. The game is set in the future where two human factions wage war over a solar system in dispute. Players start off as miners on either empires mining outpost and from there they can either mine or kill players for credits once they can afford their first starship or fighter they may begin to explore the solar system.
My new, ****** retardedly easy Minigun model... it's bad... But it's usable :D

Btw, what program do you use? I use Blender, and my models dont look as nice as yours.
what is it though looks like a minigun.. if you put a packpack with a ammo feed and handles it would look pretty sweet.
@ bennywam... I use Autodesk 3ds MAX and autodesk Mudbox 2010 for my models, And if I really need something into detail ill paint it with Photoshop... But I'we only been using 3ds MAX so far. Btw? Bennywam, Do you understand rigging???
I designed it so you're right hand will slide into the back and inside there is the trigger and those things, And actually under those circles is another grip, I thought that'd be an comfortable gun to hold. but now that I lost this model i'm going to remake something like this with only one barrel as an plasma rifle or shotgun perhaps
ok.. yeah man sounds good mate... though heheh the model im using has only a pistol grip on guns and not a rifle hold so it might look weird but I will implement it in the game good IDea there mate.
