I like this, the HUD is pretty simple. I guess that when you pass your mouse over the structure icon it will say a description of what each thing is?

Can you alter the commanders view? The later RTS picture shows a top down view, where this one is slanted. If so that's extremely awesome, pre-ordering for sure!
You can alter it, as far as moving it up and down, moving in all directions, and rotating using the middle mouse button.
