I´m a member of a small crew of one space ship called "Hooverdam 995" from the emergency and rescue team.We were waiting to escort the cargo ship called "V.C.S Hammer",it was doing a research in a newly discovered planet called Vortex-R17, when the space ship was returning from the mission we try to do a radio contact, but no one answers, after twice trying to communicate it heard some noise emitted by the radio, desperate cries for help and roar of something that does not seem very human. As we neared to the ship we begins to notice the degree of destruction of the ship,we try to approach it to assess the situation, but the landing was very hard and by lucky I get away from my ship just in time before we collide. I fell for something that looks like an elevator hole.My mission is find out what happened to this ship and make contact with a rescue ship or someone...

In this post I only want to say in my opinion, why Dead In The Space it has to figurate in the 100 best of the IOTY.

Hi! For those who do not know me my name is Jeronimo Cabrera and I am a Indie Game Developer, I do everything that is Game Design, Level Design, and also I do Game Testing.
I have much experience in this than I do, because I had the opportunity and honor to present this game in the Indie Showcase 2011 which was done in the EVA 2011 (Exposicion de Videojuegos Argentina 2011) to present my latest creation I'm doing, Dead In The Space .


The reasons that I give to vote my game for the IOTY 2011 are as follows:

- It's a game that is currently being created with an old graphics engine had to be overhauled a bit to the era of now seem almost nothing to the game "common" set up for this Engine.

- Is a product made in Argentina, and will be published free for download for all.

- Being published in a major exhibition of Argentina has a slight knowledge of this game is not going to be a project that is going to give up "just like that."

- Supporting would also be supporting one of the many games that are created in this country that becomes an industry that grows every time more.

- Also being an Indie FPS created "here" takes the traditional idea of the majority on the National Indie games, which are all "dependent on how big are you pixels on the screen" or " how many pixels does your game", it is a full 3D game with good detail for the period.

And many more reasons, but the main thing is just to help and collaborate with a project like this and something that is my passion and my dream.

So remember to vote this game for the IOTY 2011! And spread the word also!
