Nandeyanen!? - The 1st Sūtra

Nandeyanen!? is an horizontal 2D shoot’em up in which the player takes the role of Tenguman, a Japanese long-nosed goblin who wakes up after a thousand year sleep to see the world overrun by an army of mythical pranksters. With visuals and a storyline thought as homages to the 1991 Nec Pc-Engine game “Hanatakadaka!?” (“Super Long-Nose Goblin”), the gameplay introduces challenging mechanics such as bullet counter and blast pods. First step into the harsh and time-consuming world of video game design, the game was entirely financed by our stubbornness, naivety and friendship. In summer 2014, the three first stages (Mountain, Forest, Temple) of Nandeyanen!? will be released under the title Nandeyanen!? - The 1st Sūtra.

Here at Tchagata Games we decided to join the E3 hype by delivering you a new trailer for our upcoming shoot'em up NEC PC Engine homage: Nandeyanen!? - The 1st Sûtra. We sincerely hope you enjoy it.

As the trailer was made to be shown during an exhibition at the Neuchatel Museum of Ethnography we tried to make it as welcoming as possible.
