Report RSS Mort the Intern Releases Alpha Demo

Do to numerous requests, Mort finally has a demo. Haven't decided if you're willing to hop in during the alpha? Now you can play the first few areas to see if you enjoy the game.

Even though studies seem to indicate that demos hurt sales, due to numerous requests, I've released a demo for Mort the Intern. After all, I'd rather win you over with the game and think it's worth your time and money rather than you just hand me a little cash and then feel like you didn't get your money's worth.

The demo is based off the old XNA code. The new Unity version isn't yet to a place where it has all the content the old XNA version had, though the two control almost identically. So while the demo version is based off the older version, it's still very representative of what you can expect as the game matures across its alpha.

The demo allows you to play through the first section of the game; the alpha version up on Desura has two additional areas that both introduce new mechanics not seen in the demo. If you like the demo, and want to help out a developer, consider buying the game. While it's still in alpha, it'll remain 30% off. You can find try it out by following the button below.

As the game grows, I'll be sure to not only update the alpha version, but also the demo as well. I hope you enjoy what you play!
