need help, minecraft is not working Thread - Minecraft

Hey there, i have been playing minecraft for a long time now, even since the beta, but for some reason it is not letting me redownload the update.

I have tried this on 3 seperate computers, one never had minecraft installed before, and the other two had recently been wiped, so i loged in and started to download, it completed the autherisation without a problem but when it starts to download minecraft.jar it the update but it gets stuck at 0% and crashes, i have tried completly deleting it and redownloading on every computer and it still gets stuck.

So to be clear

• I can log in
• it will not download minecraft.jar

, is there a way to get arround this as i love minecraft but for some reason it is not letting me download the latest version to play!

don't worry, i have been asking around and it turns out i need to uninstall java and re install an older version to do it, i know its a hastle but it works
