Upon years, designing games on a touch screen devices is highly vulnerable to 'hit-and-miss' experience - which usually resulted in unsatisfactory feeling. Designing a satisfactory complex games such as Third-person/First-person Shooter or games that require multiple and complex touch gestures requires a lot of time, expertise and knowledge. However with the emerging simple (and mostly silly games) such as Flappy Bird and Alpaca Evolution shows that there's no need to design such complex games in order to achieve players high gaming satisfactory. Gaming on mobile devices must convey relax, silly, light-heated but at the same time challenging experience. While simple touch and click game widely available, there's an open opportunity on exploring designing and developing a game based on tilting. In this game development, I would like to show the possibility how tilting function can be used as an method of developing an ease to play and addictive game.

Hello guys! First of all, thank you for reading this post. I hope I won't bore you with this writing but I would like to express my sincere gratitude for those who are looking forward for this game to be published.

If you read the summary of the game, you may guess that "why this game summary is very much like research based?". Well the answer is yes. The whole gameplay and mechanics are pretty much based on an existing comparison studies that were looking at the player's satisfaction when playing mobile games using hard key buttons and soft key buttons. The whole game idea was to look at if there's any other method to improve player's satisfaction on playing games using touch screen game devices. Sorry for the boring stuff though, but I guess what more important is what will I do for the upcoming preview 2 (pre-2) release and how I'll manage it from now on.


Prototype of Mari Mengelak! (pre-1)

First and foremost, I'll be re-looking at my codes in this game. I'll be honest, while the preview 1 (pre-1) aka the prototype is indeed is playable and able to convey how the game is going to be, under the hood, the coding a total mess - due to the 24 hour development. So there's a need to re-look and the codes and refine the codes.

Second is to redo the sprite from scratch. Although I'm a creative designer, I'm not specialized in graphic design. For this, I'll be scouting any possible person that will help me in designing sprite graphics. Of course, I'll introduce him/her to you!

Third is the music. I have a friend that can help me create the music for this game. You can listen to some of his work at his SoundCloud site.

And of course last but not least, I'll be hearing your feedback and suggestions! So please post any constructive comments in this game project page!
