In the not-so-distant future, an emissary finds himself trapped in the wreckage of a massive but ancient space ship. Now, rather than trying to find out where the ship came from or what its purpose was, he is more concerned with trying to escape the nightmarish ever-changing world that threatens to become his tomb... Many Worlds Theory is currently available as an alpha funding deal. While the story mode is not yet finished, there are a few fully featured levels available to at least give you a taste of what it will be like. On top of that, purchasing the game gives you access to the online level database. Create your own levels, or try to solve the creations of others! Plus, as an added incentive, you will also receive a free, non-Desura copy of the game to give away! In order to access the online functionality and get your free game key, you need to connect your Desura account to the game. This can be done by opening the 'CONNECT' tab on this profile page.

Just pulled the demo down (Linux 64) and I get this message on launch:

Failed to launch item.: Failed to read [&#xLA;UNCHER_EXE%]: Couldnt open the file [&#xLA;UNCHER_EXE%] in mode 0 [9.0]

It happily runs if I call `java -jar /home/john/bin/desura/common/many-worlds-theory/mwtgame.jar` in a terminal, so its just a misconfiguration of the desura install ‐ and I cant edit it in the UI :\

I noticed this as well, but I hoped it was just a problem with my own setup, since it worked just fine before the game's release...

I'll have to check with the Desura guys if they changed anything for the worse.

I am affected by this as well, but with the full version. Launching the game from /opt/desura/common/many-worlds-theory works.
