Considering feedback from players on the app markets, developer Elev8 Games has performed a major overhaul of animations, graphics and loading times in Lost in Paradise to improve the game experience and immersion even further.
The game has switched from a "spritesheet" based player character animation to a "bones" based tweened style which is much smoother and better performing. An early gif of the improvements is shown below (was modified further before release with better walk cycle animation).
In addition, the game also has many other improvements to massively improve performance, loading times and stability compared to the original release, such as JIT (Just in Time) compilation for game scripting and an engine upgrade.
For adventure gamers sitting on the fence about trying out this unique release, now might be a good time to take the leap and enjoy a polished product.
