The kids are in BIG TROUBLE for kicking a football through their dad's office window. But instead of sitting in their rooms, bored, they decide to sneak out the back window and explore the forest behind their house. And that's where their very strange adventure begins. This is a really challenging arcade platformer with a 16-bit visual style, somewhat reminiscent of Yoshi's Island. This beta version of the game has all the areas, but a few bugs and missing features. It also features music by the band Piece (freakpiece.bandcamp.com) that I found particularly suitable. Enjoy, comment, and critique. This is my first full-length game.
BIG update to Laugh Track. • I got rid of lives and game overs, so I added a store to use your coins at. • I added an options menu that you can use to change the fullscreen mode, mute sound AND enable a new feature (in testing) to prevent epileptic seizures • I fixed the buggy way bonus easter eggs used to work. Now you can find them in any order and they are saved! • I added a boom box in your room so you can play the song tapes you find. About Laugh Track: Play as Tom or Violet as they escape a messed up home into an even more messed up world. Strange electronic/experimental/pop soundtrack.
