Description

A story focused Metroidvania/Party Based JRPG told in chapters. Chapter 1 tells the story of 2 goo creature cousins, Jeebo & Jerbo, who are unsatisfied with their lives and decide to go off on an adventure in search of meaning. The game is filled to the brim with lore, comedy, and fantastic characters, as well as difficult platforming challenges and boss fights.

History

I've pretty much always wanted to make video games since basically middle school. I taught myself how to code in like 8th grade and took some programming classes in high school, but basically knew everything at that point so I would finish my assignments super early and use the rest of class time making really simple text based games. It was really fun so I started making other more complex games like an FPS in Unity. It sucked but it was fun to come up with the concepts and stuff. Then me and my friend decided we wanted to make a game together so we began working on a game. I wrote the story and began programming while he did all of the art. After nearly a year, we decided that the concept didn't really work... So we decided to start over with a completely new project. This time it was a bunch of concepts we'd come up with throughout our childhood all mushed together into one cohesive world. After a couple years of development, I graduated college and he was super busy with work and such and for many reasons decided to quit the project. I wanted to finish though, so I got another couple of people to help me finish out what we had started and now it's finally finished... well, chapter 1 is... but still! I'm very excited for people to see the culmination of years of hard work in chapter 1: Jeebo & Jerbo vs. The Dream!
