Interstellar Dominion is an open world game set in space. Two factions are at war, the Vanguard, and the Empyrean. The actions you take will determine what faction you belong to. As if this wasn't enough of a mess pirates are out looking to turn any ship they see into scrap to sell.

Android version is being developed, wishlist the page on Google Play!

Reorganised whole HUD layout to suit both desktop and mobile platforms. This includes a whole rework of the all the pause menus, with a more organised and consistent design and a new set of animations. The shield and repair systems durability are now displayed alongside the health and shield strength sliders.

Added touch controls! You can toggle these in the options menu. These add on-screen ship controls, as well as added buttons in the inventory screen to make navigation easier with a touch screen interface.

Added a UI button for setting/clearing a waypoint placed at the centre of the map view.

Removed Gamejolt API functionality due to its minimal use and the games multiplatform audience.

Music tracks now randomly shuffle through different tracks depending on the game state (roaming, combat, contract), instead of looping one until the state is changed. Also added new music tracks for each state.

Repair systems now degrade over time, requiring you to purchase or scavenge replacements.

Rewrote all message logs and added audio logs. With the audio logs you’ll need to adjust the receiver levels to listen to it.

In-game update log that opens automatically when it’s your first time loading the latest version, you can also access it from the main menu.

Replaced desktop/app icon.

Bug fixes/small changes:

  • Reduced maximum displayed messages on message log.
  • Fixed lock-on properly disengaging when target is out of range or despawned.
  • Increased collision hitboxes for most NPC types and asteroids.
  • Textures and sounds have been compressed for better optimisation in performance and load times.
  • Load percentage now displayed.
  • Converted logo opening video from 4k to 1080p to reduce file size.
  • Improved map zoom slider UI.
  • Storm chance decreased.
  • Max number of storms decreased.
  • Improved load game list UI.
  • Resized all UI.
  • Fixed target asteroid despawning while it’s a contract target.
  • Fixed bug with invalid file path.
  • Increased star size.
  • Improved repair particles.
  • Increased waypoint, contract, and bounty arrow marker size.
  • Increased objective marker size and opacity.
  • Fixed tutorial messages not reappearing after pausing.
  • Tutorial message UI is no longer affected by storm interference.
  • Fixed achievement page scrolling bug.
  • Reduced intensity of postprocessing effects.
  • Added sound effect for swapping weapons.
  • Made corrections to credits list.
  • Replaced minimap waypoint icon.
  • Replaced inventory icon.
  • Durability bars replaced with frames.
  • Reduced shell blaster degradation rate.
  • Pause arrow icons swapped out for a higher quality sprite.
  • Reduced file size by deleting unused assets.
  • Fixed weapon durability UI getting “stuck” on screen when no weapons are equipped.
  • Reduced spawn chances of suns and nebulae.
  • Recruitment contract level reduced to 1.
  • Civilian ships now use a unique icon on the minimap.
  • Increased ship drag while paused, unless autopilot is on.
  • Increased credits and opening story text scroll speed.
  • Storm now renderers above nebulae.
  • Reduced nebulae opacity.
  • Increased wormhole warp distance.
  • Fixed weapon cooldown being set incorrectly on releasing the fire input.
  • Buffed NPC movement speeds and attack ranges.
  • Buffed mining thrusters fuel efficiency.
  • Fixed ‘Miner’ and ‘Warped’ achievements not tracking.
