Well. My spring break is over soon. This means I won't be able to push out updates as quickly. I will try to keep to an update a week at least until Summer. So I also got Command and Conquer 4 and have been playing that recently. This means I have been neglecting modeling and mapping duty for my mod. Sorry but there won't be any new model shots this week. So anyway I did promise to announce the secret non-Metroid characters. Remember if you don't like them then don't use them but if I do get too much negative feedback then I may remove them. Anyway here is the back story to them and if you don't like reading then just skip down to the colored text that tells who they are.
**Incoming transmission from GFS Orion**
Samus. Thirty minutes ago we detected a strange energy signature from one of our research bases. The base was experimenting with wormhole travel using a new gateway we have been developing. When we arrived all members of the facility were dead but, we found several others who are not in our DNA registry for the facility. They claim to be from an alternate reality. They were on a mission to another planet to capture highly dangerous alien life form. They were successful but, on their way home the device they use to travel with ran into a slight problem. The wormhole created by the device they call a stargate came very close to a black hole. At around the same time a sun exploded and was being sucked into the black hole. The combined result shifted the wormhole to our reality. When they arrived the alien escaped from them and killed everyone in the facility. The alien is a fearsome genetically engineered warrior known as a kull warrior. We have now learned that it has been found by Dark Samus and is being used for her purposes. These alternate humans have promised to help us with our problem if we in turn can get them home. They are now allied with us so protect them and fight with them. Admiral O'neill out.

Stargate....seriously?
So... good or bad idea?
Bad, very bad idea. Just stick with Metroid Prime story line, I have played all 3 3D versions of Metroid and I have played about 2 GBA versions and one DS version, ask me for some story line I know enough to suffice.
I've played the same and it is an online death match that doesn't need a story line. I have put in a small story to connect them. If I do get too much negative feedback then I may remove it. Just remember you don't necessarily have to play as them. They will be worked on last and will not be in the first few releases. I'm sorry you don't like the idea. Hope for more negative feedback.
Or the regular Metroid storyline...yeah, bet you forgot about those ones, Metroid 1 and 2, Super Metroid, and Metroid Fusion.
But, as is said, it's just an online DM game. Let him have fun with it.
