Ok. So first up on the list is the mod name. While Metroid Deathmatch Source does sum it up, it is not very creative or original for that matter. So if you have a better name please post it on the news page, mod page, my profile page, or PM me. The best name will be used.
Next up I was thinking about maybe having destructible or semi destructible environments on certain custom maps not the recreated Prime 2 maps but maybe on some of the new maps or on some maps taken from other Metroid locations. Just put what you think about that below.
I want the community to be more involved without having a team commitment. With that said there still are positions open just check the forum. I am in need of new ideas for environment props, weapons, and possible alternative ideas to standard beam pickup models. If you are interested then just send any concepts to etaekwandokid@aol.com . They can be sketches, start of a model, or pdf/jpeg/bmp. So just send those over.
Here is the last thing. I was also thinking about stressing more on the link to stargate by maybe having an objective based multiplayer map that shows what happened. This is an idea that came to me while I couldn't sleep so it may not be a good one.
That is it. Post thoughts below or PM me and let me know. More map updates to come soon as soon as I get more progress done on shooting gallery and I almost have a basic Luminoth staff concept too so watch for that.
Project Valkyrie
oohh, i like that one, although is does seem a bit over used nowdays.
so how about project rolling thunder.
Yeah. I'm afraid the name is taken and my goals are different than theirs were.
I'm a big fan of MP1, and some maps set in the Pirate research labs in Phendrana Drifts would be awesome! Likewise with the Phazon Mines level 3 - some interesting possibilities there, with Phazon to avoid and spiderball tracks everywhere.
if you need official maps from the Prime series for anything, look here:

Area maps for the MP Trilogy in order: MP1, MP2, MP3.
Thanks. I was looking for something like this. Let me know if you find images like this for the Prime 2 multi player maps.
Destructible maps is something the Metroid series is lacking in. Please do.
