GLX-Racing is a racing game by one-man game development team Coboltium. It features scratch made semi-realistic arcade physics that allow for believeable vehicle handling whilst remaining easy to drive even on a keyboard. The game features various types of cars and other vehicles and race tracks varying from purpose built race circuits to street racing courses and open highway tracks.

Description

The game now features a cockpit view... for... uh... one car. This is a proof of concept feature, and it proved that the concept would work fine :D

The cockpit view features:
* High detail 3d models and textures for car interior
* Working dials for speedometer and rpm-gauge.
* Working wing- and interior mirrors.
* Look controls to observe left and right sides of the car.

The question now is, whether this feature will be in the full release of the game, seeing that as cool as it is, and as much fun as it is to drive with the in-car view, it must be realized that the game has already some 13 cars and to do this feature for all of them would be a MASSIVE undertaking to say the least: Not only would I need to make the 3d models, but also I would have to design the interiors before that, seeing that due to obvious reasons I cannot just replicate real car interiors.
