And yeah in hind-sight i need to increase the size of the muzzleflash :) will do that now.

and yeah the sun/earth scale is probably wrong. if someone could tell me in simple terms, how many times bigger the sun is i can fix it.

say earth was at 0,0,0 and sun was at 0,0,0. earth was 1x1x1 in scale. what scale would the sun be?

Damn it Jim, I'm a coder, not an Astronomer.

Showing off the muzzleflash(8 billboards, not particles, but it will also have particles to simulate spark and smoke) of the Ion Storm rifle(And yes the name is a reference to the dearly departed Ion Storm Austin.)

And the sun. now that is made out of pure particles. so it's fully animated with flares coming out etc. doesn't look quite as good as the real sun, but at least you can look at it without sunglasses :)
