Hello boys and girls,
We have been really busy the past few weeks with the Alpha, and we want thank each and every person who pre-ordered the game and helped us in making Fray a better game. Feedback was awesome and allowed us to make a lot of improvements and we are happy to announce that we are officially feature complete.
Fray has come a long way since the first Alpha release, when the game was still lacking core features such as XP, loyalty bonuses and a majority of weapons. Since then, we have added, corrected, tweaked and changed so many things, that players can finally start appreciating the game the way we intended it.
Since we are now feature complete, it is time for Fray to enter the next phase with Beta, coming out next week on May 16th.
Beta will be the occasion for us to add polish to the game, fix the last gameplay bugs, tweak animations and cameras, add better sfx and feedbacks... Basically all the pretty stuff.
Beta also means adding more players to the game, and players will be able to join Fray when we start giving away some Beta keys in the upcoming weeks. We are also doing some Key Giveaways with some websites (there is already an ongoing one here: Rtsguru.com), that will give you access to the beta and the final released game, so stay tuned if you want to win a free key!
For Beta release, we are also preparing a brand new trailer, that was all created in engine. Here are a few screen grabs from the work in progress version, I hope you enjoy them!
