Description

First Person Shooter is not at all what you think! In fact, it is an isometric competitive game with a huge twist. Players move around an arena as you would expect, however in order to eliminate your opponents you must shoot through yourself. Effectively eliminating both you and potentially your opponent. You will have to take careful aim as missing your opponent will still kill you but even worse YOU'LL LOSE POINTS! This means taking a more thoughtful approach to how you move and shoot is key to your success. This is not your typical run and gun gameplay, this is First Person Shooter, the game where you shoot yourself first!

History

The concept for First Person shooter was originally conceived due to a childhood misunderstanding of the First-Person Shooter genre. One of our founding members when told as a young boy that a game was called a first-person shooter had an image of the character shooting themselves instead of playing from the first person perspective. That idea stuck with him until his adult life where he pitched in initial concept to a developer friend.

When first creating a demo version of the game there was very little hope that the game would be fun in the least. However, the first play sessions lasted for hours at a time and were filled with laughter. It was at that moment the team realized that there was merit to the concept.
