IndieGoGo Campaign coming this friday, changes to flashlight mechanics and a call for help.

Posted by on

First things first, the IndieGoGo campaign for this will be launched on Friday. Rewards for donations range from the simple name in credits, to a physical copy of the game and the chance to design your own enemy. We plan on raising £5000, which will go towards; Hardware, Software and paying the people working on the project.

We hope you guys can support us in anyway you can, and we hope this campaign turns out well.

Secondly, a small update of the way flashlights work. Instead of the idea i had before about not being able to use your flashlight at the same time as your weapon, the flashlight will be shoulder mounted. This means that you will be able to use weapons while having the light turn on and that the lights movement is locked to horizontal only. I haven't seen this done before in a game, but i believe the limitation means there'll be many great scares.

Last but not least, we do need some help with the modelling for the game. While i can model basic decorative objects, i'm useless when it comes to stuff like weapons and creatures. If you are willing to help us out, please contact me via Personal message. I'll be sure to get back to you.
