Fairspace is a MMORPG set in the orion nebula. You can Fly your space ship in a completely free universe, meet new races, forge aliances, trade, loot other peoples cargo, interact with the AI, mine minerals, take a job or anything else you want to do. There are many planets, space stations and battleships to dock and trade at, You can upgrade your weapons and add tech units to your ship to improve many different characterists to give you an edge over your enemies.

After installing the game and first running it you are presented with the title screens which show three icons at the top centre of the screen. |

The first icon is for creating an account, The second icon is to again access to the console and the third icon is for changing your game settings for keyboard and graphics.
You should now choose your characters name, this must be a minimum of 5 characters, then key what you would like your password to be. Other users will identify you by your character name. Please note that name and pasword is case sensitive.When you are ready click “Create New” this will create your account on the server, If there is a problem the server will give you a response so that you may correct your entries.All of your characters data is stored on the server so if you suffer hard disk crashed or theft it will not affect your game character in any way.
