Extroforge takes players to a strange and mysterious alien world, where they must work with their teammates to make a new home for the human race. The alien world is both beautiful and ruthless. There are sweltering jungles to the south, and a frozen ice land in the north. Using only minimal technology, players assemble their command post, begin securing resources, and then use those resources to establish a home base. Utilizing a modular structure building mechanic, players use various building materials to construct whatever they can imagine. Towers, walls, buildings, bridges, and more. The core of this game is a first person shooter that innovates in a number of different ways. This game is also a realtime strategy game, massive online battle arena, and a sandbox construction game.
Who doesn't enjoy blowing things up? Here's a demonstration of some of our voxel block destruction. Note that the explosions don't just cause damage in the blast radius. Any voxels which become unattached to the ground collapse, as you see several times in the video. There are no floating bricks in ExtroForge- well, except for the vehicles!
