Description
Exo TD is a game similar to traditional tower defenses, taking place in fully 3D space as you assume control of your planet defenses. With your resources you must construct turrets, shields, orbital defenses, and more maintaining your Planetary Shields as each invasion force and bosses arrive. Each wave features an increasingly difficult set of AI ships that will challenge you with new tactics, strategies, and reactive combat abilities. Destroyed enemy ships will often yield drone collectible scrap resources, providing opportunities to upgrade your turrets into newer more powerful models augmenting their defensive capabilities to deal with the increasingly powerful threats.
History
The Exo TD project began as a one man attempt to redesign what modern tower defense games could look like, borrowing from the genre to add new ideas and create a fulfilling experience for players.

- 3D Space Action TD: Breaking from traditional 2D planar TD's, build your planets defenses in fully 3D space as enemies warp in to swarm you from every direction.
- Adaptive and Reactive AI: Determined to control your resources, enemy AI will attempt to outmaneuver your plans with increasingly difficult tactics, unleashing advanced weaponry and evolving strategy.
- Upgrades: Adapt your strategy with multiple augmentation paths for your defenses. Choose from upgrades designed to modify turret behavior, boost performance, and expand strategic capabilities.
