Description
Build and grow a new settlement and explore the lands surrounding it in this Peaceful Action-Adventure & Town-Builder. Search the lush forests of the Dusken Woodlands for resources, and adventure through mysterious new places to find lost artifacts. Meet strange and quirky characters along the way, invite wandering people to join your town, and befriend cute animals who may help you in your travels. Control your team of three uniquely skilled characters to gather resources, build structures, and find treasure.
History
Originally starting as a creepy multiplayer versus combat game in Unreal Engine 3, Dwarrows eventually transitioned to a peaceful and cozy adventure and town builder game, developed in Unreal Engine 4.
After a year or so of prototyping the original concept, the team recognized that the aspects that were most appealing to them were the cute characters, which moved the game into a cozy and colourful art style, interacting with the environment and people, which brought Dwarrows into the adventure genre, and the castle upgrades, which gave the game a new town building aspect.
In 2016, we launched a small but successful Kickstarter to help fund a rich and beautiful custom soundtrack written by Neil Quillen.
After 6 years of development and feedback from Kickstarter backers, the game has been massaged into a bright, colourful, and happy, slightly-quirky, sometimes challenging, and always peaceful, fantasy game.
