Dungeons of Daggerhelm is a top-down RPG-roguelike based on games such as Realm of the Mad God and Diablo, with many differences that sets itself apart from the rest. The game is currently being developed by Rendered World Games.
This is a sampling of the newest concept we will address in the alpha version of the game: Soul Wisps. Soul Wisps are floating entities that drop randomly from enemies. They contain a number of Souls for the player to gather and save (Souls are represented by yellow 1x1 pixels). The Small Soul Wisp contains 1 Soul; the Medium Soul Wisp contains 2 Souls; the Large Soul Wisp contains 5 Souls. Souls will be used for purchasing armor, trinkets and potions from vendors in Broken Shield Castle. The larger the Wisp, the rarer it is.
