A Tag Team Brawler RPG

Dungeon Punks combines some of our favorite ideas from brawlers, RPGs, and fighting games into one awesome game We wanted to make a game that has the interesting tactical play you can get from a great fighter, mixed with the joy of trouncing tons of bad guys with devastating magic. And we didn’t want to require crazy reflexes or hidden secret joystick moves just to pull off exciting combos.

So we did something unusual: we took some of the game mechanics from the great tag team fighters like X-Men vs. Street Fighter and shoved them into our brawler. Then we gave every character a bunch of really cool tactical magical spells and a special unique dodge move, creating a play space that’s deep, challenging, and a ton of fun.

The Story

The game’s story is as unusual as the heroes themselves. The name of the game pays homage to the dungeon punk genre of fiction: imagine all the conveniences of the modern world, but substitute magic for technology. In this game that means flying boats, unwelcome visits from the Feds, corporate espionage, and a bunch of mutants with licenses to kill on a mission to take down the bigwigs of the resurrection insurance industry, all in a medieval setting.

If you enjoyed other arcade style brawlers like the TMNT Arcade, Golden Axe, Castle Crashers, or Dragon's Crown you're going to absolutely love Dungeon Punks. We've been working hard for nearly five years to make it the most fun 2.5D brawler of all time, and when you get a chance to play it later this summer we hope you'll agree!

Dungeon Punks out now for PS4 and Xbox One!

We're very pleased to announce that our tag-team brawler RPG Dungeon Punks is now available worldwide via digital download on PS4® and Xbox® One, followed by the PS®Vita version on August 16th. (And YES, it's cross-buy compatible, which means if you buy the PS4® or PS®Vita version you get the other free!) It's going to be coming to PC via Steam and other outlets later this Summer, too!

Hack-and-slash your way through twelve epic levels of arcade-style action either solo or with your buds (and soon-to-be frenemies), taking down bosses, pillaging loot, and fighting over who gets to ride the laser-blasting unicorn. Check out the launch trailer below!

Each player can choose two wild mutant heroes to play at once, swapping back and forth to chain together insane combos in true tag-team fighting style!
