Dungeon Colony is a 2D fantasy real-time strategy game in which you take control over a Dungeon Lord and his loyal Minions to explore and build a Dungeon and save your colony from the brink of extinction. Command your Minions to dig out tunnels and rooms, craft items from resources they collect, and set up traps to defend your new home against greedy heroes. The mountain harnesses powerful magic that has the potential to give you control over the lands around you. But it's up to you to uncover its secrets before you are overrun by your enemies.

Dungeon Colony v0.2.0.25 adds new feature allowing minions to place ground tiles.

Today's release (v0.2.0.25) adds a new feature to the game that I've been waiting for a long time: Custom Ground Tiles. Now, the player is able to place these tiles and change the look and feel of the dungeon. This also lays the foundation for a future feature: rooms (TBA). Check out the following video to see digging dirt and laying tiles in action:

Also new in this release (v0.2.0.25):

  • New Flooring Frame allows you to choose between the 3 new tile sets but also allows you to put dirt back on the ground.
  • Adds new AI Behavior allowing Minions to find the necessary resources to build ground tiles.

Nice decoration, but I think we won't have time for this, we should prepare defence for enemies.
