You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. Release version and manual is available now. Manual can be downloaded from Illwinter's web page.

I'm hoping only to include fairly easy-to-implement suggestions, but of course I have no idea how easy this really is, your feedback and additions are welcome - Double the animation speed of all projectiles in tactical replays (I frequently switch to turbo during missile phase and back to normal afterwards) Thank you |

Show corpses even when no death mage/reanimator is in the province. |

This one is an easy mod. Llamabeast did one for Dominions 3.
This exists. The mechanic is just slightly different. Give the builder a new order like patrol or move. And then one new commander now has the continue construction option. |
||

Or even better, a spell or ability that lets you detect unburied dead! |
||

Sorry, regarding the request many have said already exist: when I set my builder to stop building, the building isn't cancelled, but rather another may then continue, is this correct? Is this also true if the builder gets assasinated or dies of a disease or is otherwise killed by a spell? Regarding flag colors, is this a mod for Dom4 that is halfway easy to find? (I'm computer illiterate and couldn't mod that if you paid me.) |

What I would really like is a new order for pretenders. Call Hero, where you have a increased chance of getting heros. |

turn timers? |

Dec 18 2013 Anchor | ||
Yes, you basically have it right. If the builder quits, dies, etc, the building can be continued by another. However, only if you continue to own the province. If the province is taken by another player or independents all construction is lost. Here is the Original Streamers and Standards for Dominions 3. It might work fine as is in Dominions 4. However, no 4 version has been completed to my knowledge. |

Triple speed for lame lvl 1-2 evocation spells. So much fun waiting after 5 flying shards... I'd like an option to add +1 or -1 to all ritual ranges, so to better accommodate map size. And also a better research UI where you could simply choose the desired spell level in a field, then the next to research. |

Yes, like the ones you'd see in Civ V for games that are played in real time. Edited by: Gaslov |

Also have a few, and made a post, reposted from that one (it got buried)
I don't like this idea, I think it is much more flavourful and makes sence gameplaywise that you need a death mage to sence the presence of the unburied. Edited by: flashey |

I'd like to be able to scroll through the combat log shown in battle. As it is now, it's kinda unusable... unless I'm missing something. I'd like to see the combat log improved in general. Maybe some color coding to make it easier to keep up with. I'd like an option to warn before ending the turn, even when you don't have any idle units. I use the R key a lot and end up hitting the E key by accident too often. I'd like the Nation Overview screen (F1) to show which provinces have units in the recruitment queue. Something small like a little icon would suffice. On the research screen, using + and - should always increase and decrease the amount in a school by 1. I (and I'm sure I'm not alone) like to min/max my research and make sure none is going to waste. This isn't always possible currently because sometimes it doesn't let you increase/decrease by 1. I actually just had a situation where I could have just researched a level in 2 schools but it wouldn't let me because it kept jumping from 49 to 51. Minor problem in the grand scheme of things but still annoying. Edited by: mimed |

Mimed, you can scroll with the + and - keys. Also, in case you don't know, hitting 1,2, or 3 alters the amount of detail displayed in that log. Also, look around in game options. There is some place where you can set whether it asks for confirmation before ending turn. |
||
Dec 18 2013 Anchor | ||
Nice! I should have tried +/- a long time ago! Currently it only asks for confirmation when you have idle units, sadly. |

an option to kill the E key or switch it to Ctrl-E like many other games do has long been on the server wishlist You can do it with a key macro program like AutoHotKey. Then have it linked to your desktop shortcut to Dom4 so it turns on/off when you play |
||

Thanks! - I may simply not be able to find it, but I am missing a hotkey which lets me scroll through my forts. Especially after the mid-game, helping remembering where my forts are so that I can recruit would be good. Additionally, having a fort-icon in the overview would be good as well. |
||
Dec 19 2013 Anchor | ||
I agree it would be nice to be able to cycle through recruitment sites but I wouldn't limit it to just forts. I'd have it go through every province but let you sentry them off the list. They would be added back by recruiting something there. |

Undead priests with no death paths, at least, should have this ability. Not being able to see corpses is a big problem for Asphodel's carrion lords. |

I have couple of wish list items to add: 1) Hotkey to hide the entire user interface, meaning the right side bar (which h key currently hides), found magic sites, commander icons on the left, province info box in upper left and gem reserves box in upper middle. Can't take a decent screen shot of the map situation without such functionality. 2) Some kind of "continue doing what you're doing and stop pestering me" command for scouts who are hiding and commanders with defend order so I don't have to scroll through million scouts and/or indy commanders every turn for nothing. Edited by: zenzei |

Can anyone say if these "wishes" are particularly difficult, and what the chances are of the demigods at Illwinter to glance at this thread and, perhaps, attempt to implement 80% of them might be? |
||
Dec 21 2013 Anchor | ||
Oh god, this, so much this. |
||
Dec 22 2013 Anchor | ||
Yeah, +1 for the above idea. Also, improve the End turn confirmation with something like "Are you sure you want to end turn. 6 Scouts, 2 Mages, and 1 Assassin are doing nothing." instead of the regular "Are you sure you want to end turn. 9 commanders are doing nothing." This way, you can quickly end turn if its just scouts and you know you don't want to move them, and you know to not end turn if there is a site searcher/item forger/ritual caster went idling in the mix there... |
