You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. Release version and manual is available now. Manual can be downloaded from Illwinter's web page.

I was looking how to setup a pretender AI in SP. Strangely despite it seems at hand, the game doesn't includes the scale and pretender setup for an AI player, and the command to make a player computer controlled doesn't allow set AI difficulty. Frankly it's weird for SP players.

I found the only way was map editing, after some check of the manual my bet is it's the god commands to set the scales and the commander commands to set the commander and his pretender magics setup. I couldn't find how reuse a pretender of the game and fully design the pretender within the game restrictions seems complicated. So I wonder if anybody that already have done it once could provide a complete setup? Anf if possible with some explanation completing the manual.

The game autodsigns AI pretenders. If you design a human player pretender and set it to AI, it will be at the normal difficulty level and will have those stats, you cannot select the difficulty.

You can use the map commands (god commands for dominion and scales, commander commands for setting chassis, but you also need to set start location in that case) to place a custom god for AI, but this is not useful for normal maps where starts are random.

The AI usually designs pretty good gods, unlike in Dom3, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Thank you but I'd like play against some specific bless or SC pretender to see how it works in SP.

Strangely the default AI difficulty can't be changed which would be the simplier solution for me by crating a human player and make it becomes computer controlled. And by searching I quoted the solution you highlight ie map edit, but if for you it seems simple, at first it isn't and that's why I asked for a sample.

EDIT:
I tried the commands bellow, and at least could quote with a quick scout test that the pretender was used. But there was a big anomaly and I could not check the magic levels with a quick scout test, anyway the big problem:
- The enemy dominion on provinces was non existent even on capital, and the same for the scales. I was using a spy to scout.

Moreover it seems god of AI must be awake so that solution is finally totally pointless. Really not a game for SP. :(

It might be worth keeping in mind that the AI won't play even a well designed pretender anything like a human would. If you're testing it would probably work better to have both nations human controlled and you can play that nation like another player would.

Yeah for some tests I did use multiple human players, but it's just tedious work, even my job is much more fun than that! :D

Ok you are right anyway the AI probably wouldn't play them well.

Even if the AI is bad, being able to have a pretender with a good bless on a bless-prone nation would be cool...

AI gods for SP can be fun. Designing a pretender for AI does not have to follow the rules.
It is not limited to the usual number of creation points (if you turn off cheat detection) so "awake" is not a big problem.

That also means it can have any dominion, scales, magic. It can also start with special equipment. It does not even have to be one of the pretenders (using Eater of the Dead is fun). Doing it by map commands has other fun options also. Assigning bodyguards (also using any unit in the game, even other pretenders). Giving extra troops. Giving extra magic sites at the capital to give it more gold or resources or some interesting addional recruitable units (even capital sites from other nations to give it other nations elite units), You can give it higher home defense PD. OR give it a lot of unrest to give yourself a head start. (or kill off their god so they have to pray it back)

You also are able to set the AIs to ally with each other. That way they wont attack each other but instead concentrate on the human players. With a few tricks you can even give it a starting goal to head it toward a particular direction. AND one of the biggest advantages is that it is a map. Others can download it and play the scenario. It can also be uploaded to LLamaServer

I can give a link to an example from Dom3. The commands havent changed much (unfortunately)
It had 4 AIs that were allied because they all worshipped one of the 4 winds.
Colossal Head
(the Colossal Head with a Bag of Winds)
cold Caelum was in the north and worshipped Boreas the North Wind.
Tien Chi was that strange land to the east and worshipped Eurus the East Wind
Eriu worshipped Zephyrus the West Wind
Man worshipped Notus the South Wind
They each started with two sites, the second one being near one of the allies. The first thing on their agenda was to connect the two sites so in the game that tended to create a diamond pattern of ownership early on with the human players in the middle. The references to .6 was because this was designed to be level 6 of 10 as far as programmable AI (a level 2 in the series had already been played and a level 10 was supposed to be next).
