You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. Release version and manual is available now. Manual can be downloaded from Illwinter's web page.

Hi folks,

I'm new here. Have been playing Dominions for a while now, and while ago decided to try and create a map myself. Started as a practice on how to draw a map in general so not great story behind it. :) Thanks for Kaljamaha for checking for missing links and general advices.

It has 180 land provinces and 44 water, and is full wrap-around.

I put the map without provinces or borders as an image on deviantart also, if someone wishes to reorder provinces or such :)

Very nice.
I especially like the name and color scheme. Its nice to have more green maps.

I also like how it handles the water in a way that makes the complaints against water nations, and against sailing nations, not an issue

Saildist 1 or 2 ? It look like 2 would be powerful on this map.

I must admit I haven't played much with sailing nations so I don't know for sure how efficient it generally is. I haven't changed the default (2?) But I think my water provinces are even bit smaller than on average? (just a feeling tho) But as this map has rather lot of water I think sailing and uw-nations do like this one :)

Very sexy. I love new maps!

I especially like how you have terrain "chunks", that is, not just one swamp province by one forest province by one waste province, but logical groupings of the same kind of province. It's not just realistic, it's strategic, as for example a swamp survival nation will have a huge tactical advantage crossing that big swamp in the middle of the map, and that will truly impact gameplay.

Now if only nation modders would get a hitch in their getalong and follow suit!

Thanks MAurelius11, nice to hear you like it :)
I was bit pondering whether to do them in "chunks" or not, nut decided to give it a try, as thought it would look more natural like it :)
