MA game for newbie/medium Thread - Dominions 4: Thrones of Ascension

Hi all,

Seeing smooth start of first game, and big demand for new games, decided to make a new one.
This time, it is MA game. 12 players, and around 15 provinces/player.
12 out of 18 points to win.
Magic sites 60, common events.

Preferably with players having not too much experience in Dominions, some games in Dominions 3 are okay.
Have not decided on my race yet, will think about it once more.

This should be my second multiplayer. Can I join as Ulm? What timeframe do you have in mind for turns?

I think default 72 hours for first turn and 48 for next turns are fine. For Christmas/New Year probably more lax schedule.
And yes, you are all welcome to join

I would also like to sign up, I'll post my nation tomorrow if it's ok.

This would be my first multiplayer. I guess I'll take either Jotunheim or C'tis if they haven't been taken. I really wish there were some better blood civies in MA though. Oh well. FEAR MY STEALTH MOOSE STRIKES!

Ropesy - player before you took Ulm. Please discuss it with him or choose another nation.
I counted that right now we have 9 people signed up (including me), so I will go ahead and create game. It will be called Steel_Undead
as there are mostly undead nations, and couple of less magical ones.

Have not played any MP games would love to join this. Will pick nation tomorrow if that is cool.

There's no player list and some players haven't choosen nations right away.

Counting posts, remembering usernames and checking who has and who hasn't choosen a nation already is a pain.

purpherb's list matches with what I drafted when checking if I made it in time. Feel free to update Vanarus as my pick!

As for the other stuff: do we have a map yet? Would prefer testing a few expansions on the actual map we use before we start, since the last thing I want is to face the fate of our Abyssia-player the last time I tried my hand at Dominions 3. Poor fellow somehow managed to get his entire army slaughtered on initial expansion and was more or less destroyed before first year ended

Umm sorry about this but can someone link me a newbies guide to joining the game? I bought my copy off of steam, so it asks for IP addresses and server creations. I'm a bit lost.
