You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. Release version and manual is available now. Manual can be downloaded from Illwinter's web page.

Is it possible to mod domkill out of R'lyeh? | Locked | |

I want to fool around with it, but I find it's dom-kill to be a bit of a buzz-killer. I want to play a LA R'lyeh with a void-monster spawning, madness-inducing dominion, which doesn't otherwise kill off it's populace or that of it's disciples. Is it doable? |

I'm still learning how all this modding stuff works but maybe I can help you out. The mod manual says this about the #domkill tag: "The nation's Dominion kills population like Ashen Ampire Ermor. Vale of 10 = 1%*Dominion killed every month." So this could work? I can't test it right now. Sorry if this ends up wasting your time. #selectnation 92 Edited by: mimed |

Note that MA R'lyeh is LA R'lyeh minus the special dominion, and already spawn a lot of void monsters. |

A single-age mod would also let you use MA R'lyeh against LA nations (or pit MA vs LA!) although as a side effect other nations would be around(thoug you can change that by setting the nations manually). Since as Ohlmann says MA Rlyeh=LA minus the killing(basically)... As for what mimed suggests - definetely try it but it might not work, not all commands seem to support overwriting. |

@mimed I tested it and it works! It seems that, unlike in Dom3, it IS possible to keep a R'lyeh full of crazy WITH a population. I'll add spreadchaos to make it even funnier. PD: I've added unrest to the dominion as a substitute for popkill. Seems more thematic for a crazy-inducing dominion, too. Edited by: Grossor |

This is nice to know. |

Asphodel(new Dom4 nation), I think? Though it's a smaller effect than MA Ermor IIRC. Edited by: TheZonk |

Yeah, it's Ermor, Asphodel, Lemuria, and R'lyeh. I've only tried it with Ermor, but if you remove the domkill from Ermor, you will get ghoul freespawn rather than longdead, because there are no corpses. Your capital will always start at a very low population even with no popkill, too. |

Ok, thx guys. Most useful info. |

R'yleh does get it's chaff even w/o domkill. No cigar for it's disciples though: with or without domkill they dont get freespawn. This should be fixed. Even substituting domkill with unrest, it's hard to put up a functional nation while suffering from the dominion's toxic effect without any of it's bonuses |

Have you tested this? Because other freespawn nations like ermor do spawn disciple troops as well. |

Yeah, I've tested this. Speculation: it's because of Ermor's domkill + reanimation vs Ryleh non-corpse-related-spawns |
