You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. I did this mod as a side-project while working on Bretonnia.

Gift of Reason is awesome. But unfortunately it is pretty expensive, but it kind of needs to be since it is really good on Tarts. But people need their mad moose thugs :(. So I done did and made some specific Gift of Reson type spells that are more restricted, but cheaper and easier to cast. I also made vanilla GoR and divine name cheaper cause why not while I was at it.

List of changes: Feel free too criticize the pricing and path requirements and whatever. These are a result of about an hour of random thinking and consulting the goon IrC channel.

New Spells:

Gift of Civilization: Thaumathurgy 3, Nature 2 to cast, 4 nature gems. Can only be cast at animals

Gift of Cunning: Thaumathurgy 4, Astral 1 / Nature 1, to cast, 8 astral gems. Can only be cast at magic beings who are not mindless

Gift of Ire: Thaumathurgy 5, Astral 2 / Death 1 to cast, 12 astral gems. Can only be cast at undead

Gift of Malice: Blood 5, Blood 2 / Nature 1 to cast, 18 slaves. Can only be cast at demons

Changes to old spells:

Gift of Reason: costs now 11 gems (20 in vanilla), but cannot target undead anymore

Divine Name: costs now 13 astral gems (25 in vanilla), only requires 4 astral to cast (5 in vanilla for reasons?)

So have fun with crocodile thugs or something.

Looks very cool, but I don't understand the reasoning of Gift of Malice having N1 tacked on there. I say raise the blood level if you think B2 is too easy, but don't restrict it to the fraction of nations that get BN mages.

My reasoning was that Gifting in the base game is restricted to N and S paths and I kind of wanted to tie the new spells to those paths. Just for thematic reasons and just not to get too hog wild with this.

It was suggested to me in the other forum that the demon for might be undercosted if you roughly count 2 slaves as equal to 1 gem. Do people feel the same way here? I could scrounge up a update this weekend.

There is a dom4 version done by someone else. I don't find it very mature for now.

I have no plans to update UWGIM, that torch has been passed to kiantuatha in the dom4mods forums. My original fuel for making the mod this dumb mp game where I was crippled because I was Oceania. Now after all these years the fire has dwindled and I have interest in the project anymore. I'd just half-ass it out of sense of obligation, better for someone who actually kind of cares to deal with it.

Sorry bro, I just don't care for the blight of the undersea kingdoms anymore.
