Defeat the Beast to Pass the Baricade Thread - Dead Pixels

I came up against a barricade at a mall around 13 streets from the safe zone.
The guy on the other side of the barricade says he cant let me through until i defeat a beast on my side.
However, there doesn't appear to be a beast, just endless large waves of zombies.
Am I missing something?
How do I get past the barricade and is there a beast I have to defeat?

I can't progress any further in the game until I figure this out so any help would be much appreciated.

There should be some unique zombie on that street that you are missing that you have to kill to progress.

Ok, any clue what it looks like?
I ran the full distance back to the beginning of the street and then back to the barricade
and I don't remember seeing anything that looked drastically different from the other zombies.

The picture helped a lot, it ended up being the one with the bat.
Only took me a few seconds to find him once I knew what I was looking for.
It would have been nice if the guy at the barricade had given me a description of the zombie he wanted dead rather than just calling it a beast.
Even if all he did was show me the same picture you did and said one of them was wandering around and needed to be killed that would have been good enough.
