Dead Man's Trail is a zombie survival game for PC, Mac, and Linux in the tradition of classic travel survival games with some new twists. The game recreates the drama of modern zombie fiction by making team members core to the player's travel progress through randomly generated cross-country journeys. Each have their own job that will help the party along their journey: firearm expert, melee expert, paramedic, mechanic, and others. These characters must be kept happy and healthy through randomly placed obstacles and loot supplies in procedurally-generated 3D environments. Each journey the player takes in Dead Man's Trail creates different and highly replayable undead drama.

Dead Man's Trail - a zombie game from e4 Software and Pie For Breakfast Studios - comes to Indie/Slide DB with new media to show!

We at e4 Software and Pie For Breakfast Games would like to announce our upcoming zombie/horror/travel game, Dead Man's Trail (DMT) and share some screenshots of our latest build. Set in a zombie apocalypse, DMT takes inspiration from classic Oregon Trail games and the recent Organ Trail to create a zombie travel game with several modern twists.

These screens show our looting mode: where players must invade abandoned towns looking for supplies while battling zombies. If the player stays for too long, a horde will catch up to them.
