We already have 2 Hotels, what theme you want to see?

Do you prefer big or small maps?

:D

If you do bigger maps, you would need more people or monsters.

Insane asylum would be cool / scary.

Having a village would be cool too. You need to find the keys to the car to escape, but houses are locked, etc. Along the same lines, a huge plantation with a corn maze could be interesting too.

I like the size of the Rose Crimson map. If you continue to make maps that are as big and sprawled out as Bodom then you might need to tweak trap volume and the ethereal monster speed

Map Ideas: An old hospital that possibly was condemned after a fire. A slaughterhouse for livestock with still-dry blood on all the tools. (I can imagine that hearing the meat-saw trap go off for the first time will scare most people). Claustrophobic tunnels. I personally find dolls and clowns to be creepy, so perhaps an abandoned doll factory or creepy carnival?

On the note of clowns, would it be possible for the current monster to have different appearances? Like, if I'm a survivor in a haunted carnival, I think it would be awesome to be chased down by a giant murderous clown with claws.

Theme/map ideas:
Old Factory, waxwork museum, forest, shipyard, inside a ship, an old mine, warehouse, carnival, hospital, graveyard, castle?

Forests are problematic. Don't do it unless you can afford the time and effort to place a lot landmarks. Don't get caught in the trap of random trees everywhere, because that's more annoying than scary.

How about an old stone village built around the ancient husk of a petrified wooden ship of unknown origin. You'd need a new monster type, try something completely ghostly.

I'm on-board with an insane asylum, or abandoned hopsital. Especially the hospital, as if you could implement one-time moving traps, you could make gurneys roll down a hall and screech, or any number of amazing things.

I personally love big maps, and I think you should create larger maps that would allow bigger games to occur, such as 2 monsters and 10 survivors in a very large map. It would be chaos, but chaos can be fun if the map is big enough. There definitely needs to be more hiding spaces as well, such as wardrobes. Maybe small closets, or things survivors could climb into with a button, but allow the monster to check those hiding places.

And I'm off-topic now. Big maps, more players, insane asylum/abandoned hopsital.

Also, dave-arm. That carnival suggestion warrants a clown-themed monster. THE FEAR.

I think that a forest could work out if you did it right, maybe it not even be a forest at all, maybe something that was a thriving system at one time, but now is just overgrown by nature. When I think of this, I think of an old mining town out in the woods. You could have small buildings with objects and traps, old machines laying around rusting with time that might make squeaky metal noises when a player walks by. There could be a lot of old things inside of an abandoned mine town that could make old creaking noises that would freak people out.

The goal could be that the "survivors" stumbled upon this little town. The place it fenced off so that people are not supposed to be able to get in, but they came over the side of the mountain that the mine is on, and now there is no turning back, only finding a way to unlock the front gate to escape. Ideas for the monster could be the spirit of an old Foreman that was know to be wicked, and he would often abuse his men if they weren't performing like he wanted them to. Maybe a special ability that he could have would be a whip. (used on his workers, known to often kill them from shock) But, since he would have range, he would be slower (His figure could be a little overweight to express how he abused his wealth that he made).

This is just a quick idea of something I thought about when I first started playing the game. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on how to make this better, I am more that willing to listen. To the others that thought of map ideas, they are really great. Personally, I have always just been creeped out by old abandoned place, especially at night!

- A bigger ski hut, with 2 floors and a little area outside the hut.
- Funfair in the night
- Submarine
- Airport (Baggage handling system, Information, Toilets etc.)
- A haunted wooden house in the woods.
- Mine
- Walmart :-)

I prefer bigger maps.

A Morgue or Crematorium would be awesome, Traps such as one of those drawers with a body in it? Not familiar with the name, And the place where people are burnt, Adding visuals to the traps could really add a sense of power and dread to the humans. Some items could be haunted and a wailing spirit could appear.

Bigger maps are funnier than small maps that you have to cross forth-and-back 5 times, but the concept of small maps (aka. the restaurant) is good too ; It brings different strategies to the game. Most ppl cry that you can't get the 2 chests in the restaurants center because of the piano's, but they are wrong, you just need to wait the good timing (aka. just after a physical monster spawn...)

IMO' The more ideas and different concepts you'll bring in, the better your game will be!

how about a prison

Opera House?

carnival

Farm (with corn maze) and slaughter house.

Carnival and Prison are the ones that seem like they would work the best and be the most interesting.
