You’ll be able to play as one of the four people that got trapped inside this haunted hotel. As a survivor your main objective will be finding your way out, as well as helping your fellows get out too. You’ll often find yourself on the edge, hearing and seeing ghostly things, trying to find keys and items to help in your escape. And sometimes you’ll find yourself running desperately from a monster, who’s there only to hunt down and kill you and your friends. You’ll also be able to play as the monster. You’ll assume an ethereal form, which you’ll use to haunt the survivors, triggering eerie noises and events. You’ll also assume a physical form, which will allow you to hunt and kill the survivors trapped in the hotel. It’ll be your killing spree. Hey, yesterday night I was playing with 3 friends and it was alright until some of my friends started to have connection issues to the lobby. They were in the lobby but they warnt able to see anybody. We finally managed how to play together, just by port fowarding, firewall, etc. But today, I can't join a single game. It says: Host timed out in the top left of my screen. I was wondering if one of you guys experimented this bug already? Is there a solution? I've tryed: restart pc, restart steam, restart internet connection, ipconfig/release/renew, re-installing the game... When i use ''verify integrity of game cache'' it says: 1 file failed to validate and will be reaquired. Still not working. Help! |

I have exactly the same problem as rayd0n at the moment =/. after i got the message "host timed out", i tried "Verify integrity of game cache", i got 1 files who "failed to validate", afterward steam is downloading it, but the game dont work. this "corrupt files" come back everytime i got the "host timed out" Message |
