Have you tried Uninstalling python, Then goto your games on desura, Right click Damned, Goto verify Files and Only have the middle and bottem box checked and It should re download Python For ya, After that you should be good to go

If that doesn't work try verifying all files.

I had this same issue, and I've tried installing python over again and manually placing python27.dll in the Damned folder. Finally, the only option that worked for me was to move *every* file from the Python folder into the Damned folder, as I noticed that Damned somehow failed to find the Python files if they weren't in the same folder. Hopefully this will be fixed eventually, because this is sort of a stupid fix.
I'm not that bright about computers, so with this knowledge, I'm sure there's an easier fix available already, but I can't come up with that myself. So until then, I'll play with the Python and Damned folders merged.

Read the posts, we already have the .dll file, that's not the issue here. Also, there are easier ways to find the .dll file to download rather than making an account on a site. Also, as I noticed, I already had the .dll file on my computer, in the Python folder - the problem was that Damned was unable to find it, for some reason, which is why it only worked by having the .dll file inside the Damned folder. This is why I moved all the Python files to the Damned folder, which made the game work. So the issue would have something to do with Damned not being able to find Python in any other folder than the Damned folder.

We got it to work after uninstalling and reinstalling Monty Python. Works like a dream now.
