We are currently hard at work on releasing a public beta that will be released January 30th at midnight. In other news we are switching engines again, this time to Unity 3d. We decided to switch to Unity 3d because of the fact that is much easier to use than any other game engine that we have used before. We were able to have the player be able to move in a matter of minutes and a weapon working in 20 more. I wish we had found this option earlier. Though it was tested in the very beginning as one of the options but the new Unity has been updated and is much easier to use than ever before. In all this time we were able to mesh the entire project together within a single day that the entire team didn't have to go anywhere.
We also felt it necessary to say all the names of the people who helped during the making of this game:
AFColonel - Project Leader, Level Desinger, (Almost a Good) Modeler
SnowLeopardJB - (Brilliant) 3D Modeler, Level Designer, Programmer
Kikowe - Composer
expendable55 - (Not so Good, but he's still good) 3D Modeler
flubber1107 - Texture Maker
ManSaysNo - (One) Concept Art
I hope you are happy with the Beta.
We will be releasing a full game for a small charge.
Thank you for all your support, In Soviet Russia Cookies Bites You.
P.S. ManSaysNo also takes on the name Lazy Git.
So it's almost finished? God, you are really fast!
Well we have been working on this for a long time with assets, but we finally just got motivated and we have actually just found an engine that is working for us. :-D
plus we have a half decent crew
I really can't wait for the beta to come out! Everybody put alot of work into this project... Right down to ManSaysNo who got fired for his first concept art.
