CHIVALRY: Medieval Warfare is a first-person medieval online combat game that seeks to deliver the intensity of epic hollywood medieval block busters to the hands of a gamer. CHIVALRY hurls the player into a fictional medieval world where the Agathian Knights are battling against the newly formed Mason Order for control of the lands of Agatha.
Guys this is fantastic work! I wish you best luck on this game!
Yeah, I like how you went for the classic, dark, gritty look.
Seriously, to many these games go for either cartoony or anime-like, and while I like both Cartoons & anime, STAY AWAY FROM MAH MEDIEVAL!(Unless it's Berserk)
I seriously dont understand about which games are you talking about when you mentioned that they go "cartoony or anime-like" (because i hate anime) But,if you were saying that there are few Medieval games, then you are right, but games today get more bloodier and darker,so theres no anime-**** (only japaneese games).
Well it's just there are alot of games set in the medieval period...but completely lacking in traditional armor or swords, and have to go for really unique and decorated armor with fancy designs...I just like how they've done the basics, adds more of a sense you're a soldier.
To many games these days make your guy look like the final boss of an epic RPG, but with 15x people looking like that and dying no problem, it's just annoying.
"Well it's just there are alot of games set in the medieval period...but completely lacking in traditional armor or swords, and have to go for really unique and decorated armor with fancy designs..."
Well thats called "Historical" and "Fantasy" Genre,so dont blame the games, but the designers, its their choice of making the game fantasy,so they have the right to use any kinds of weapons and armor they like, and not historical ones. So yeah, there are no historical games. But we will go too far with this conversation...
Since this was an *oppinion* of his, and he has the right to dislike the games being like that. You don't have to agree with him, but an oppinion can never really be "wrong" so don't try justifying why it has to be.
I suppose it's true, that many games like to go a bit over the edge, but it sells. In my oppinion, it's quite possible to live with that kinda thing, as long as the gameplay is appealing enough.
Lol,alright, lets get this straight, how do you expect to finish the game when you fight as a normal soldier? its impossible, and in games you have characters who are able to rescue the princess, fight the hordes, kill the main boss and then go home without dying, they are able to complete the game, and you call that they are overpowered? than whats the point of having game characters. Yeah its not realistic, but same thing is in movies, main characters mostly survive. In this game you have different type of gameplay, gameplay where you play as a soldier, die as a soldier, and then respawn again as a soldier,so there is big difference between types/genres of the games, and oppinions have nothing to do with this.
