Thanks mate!, yeh I agree with you there, one of the things I am aiming to fix up in the next week as at the moment I am using place holder code for the player movement.
I've been tracking your game for awhile now and I really dig it! Good models and atmosphere. The trailers that you've posted look very promising, and the sounds are well implemented too! Is everything custom including sounds? I'm also attempting a solo indie game called G.R.I.T. - The Past Is Everything here on IndieDB and I'd really like your feedback on what you think of it so far! I'm also curious to learn more about Caffeine and maybe ask about your process for creating assets (particularly the metallic specularity on your assets: do you use Ddo and Ndo? Thanks!
Thanks for following Caffeine!, The sounds are good but they are not original at the moment they are place holders from freesound.org while I line up a composer :), Sure I will be sure to check it out sometime soon. Most of my assets are modelled inside Maya as medium poly and then yeh I do use nDo and dDo , the specular in UDK I use a few multiply's and also a small add on the gloss map to give it that extra punch :)
