Breathers is post apocalyptic action rpg game. It is set in the near future when mankind thought that everything is perfect. New miracle drug was invented. It was made to cure all diseases, but inevitable happened - the cure turned to a virus. The virus was primarily targeting respiration system and brain. People became mad and violent, but they still had enough intelligence to use weapons and survive. Because of that, people attacked by the virus are wearing breathing devices.
Even though antivirus was quickly developed, it wasn't working that well. Heads of states used the antivirus as first people and when it did not help, the war begun.
After some time some people were cured, but the damaged brain and respiratory system took it's toll. Other people were not cured at all and continue to die because of the virus. Small percent of people is still without any symptoms.
The world was destroyed by the war and people must now survive on their own!
