Break Blocks is a break dancing, action puzzle game which fuses the beat-based mechanics of games like Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution with a color-based block puzzle. You play as a young break dancer who must defeat a cast of 13 of the world’s most notorious dancers by building colored blocks and clearing them to perform dance moves. Blocks are built in time with the beat and then placed on the circular dance floor. The object is not only to group primary colors (red, blue, and yellow) together, but also to connect them by using secondary colors (purple, orange and green) as a bridge to clear more blocks, and unleash more intense break dance moves! Greater Good Games is a two man game studio whose creators' dream is to use their passion for making games to help others. The company was founded with a commitment to charity. Report RSS Wrapping It Up When Time Permits

It's been a while since we've posted anything because real life has temporarily taken the front seat; such is the life of someone developing two games at once.

My employer, Tripwire Interactive, is currently wrapping things up on our next title Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. As such, my spare time to work on Break Blocks has been limited recently, as we are working crazy overtime polishing the game up. It's okay, though, because we knew this was going to happen and it's already been worked into Break Blocks' plan of releasing in a few months. In lieu of releasing a new version of the game, we are releasing another song straight from the game. This time it's the Zombie's theme song.

I had once again written up a much longer post, but the rich text editor here on IndieDB decided to act up again. It seems to have a lot of trouble with inserting media that isn't YouTube, though it worked fine with any media about a month ago. Oh well, I don't have enough time to write it all up again, so this will have to do. Sorry guys.
