A Rogue-like-like First Person Shooter styled after the over-the-top 3d shooters from the mid-1990s.
Gatling guns are (mostly) done!
They work a lot like the TF2 Heavy's weapon; they have a spin-up time, then they unleash a terrible wave of boolet upon the enemy. While you are spun up, your movement speed is reduced and you can't jump, meaning you are very vulnerable to being hit by enemies, but on the other hand you are basically putting up a solid wall of lead (Or nails, or laser beams, or rubber bullets) meaning that you can pretty quickly solve the issue of things threatening you.
Also like the TF2 heavy, you can spin up your gatling gun with your secondary fire, to be ready to fire at a moment's notice. This means that gatling guns don't ever have secondary fire modes; on the other hands, sometimes you have weapon parts that give you powers while your weapon is spun up.
Be warned though; these guns are hard on your ammo supply.
And when you combine it with speed booster...ouch.

Will the higher tiers be something akin to a personal nuke launcher or what? Tier 3 that is, and potentially tier 2, albeit on lesser scale :P
Yeah, as well as like, automatic rocket launchers, or ones which are basically just you carrying an entire Katyusha rack.
Also, I can confirm chainsaw rockets.
