TODAY'S PROGRESS REPORT!
Zack
Removed 900 lines of bloat from the deferred lighting code!
Aaron
The previewer's gotten us excited for some actual gameplay elements and so we might have a brand-new priority vote for everyone tomorrow.
We've got three we're really looking to work with and thought it would be better for the paying Blockade Runner supporters to vote on their favored order of importance once again! This also gives Gabe and I the opportunity to finally dust off our formula for gauging fan priority lists, allowing us to do more frequent priority voting in the future!

Nathan
Today Nathan created a new magic script for aligning the tangents on slopes and prefabs that should make them respond properly with the lighting!
While correcting the tangents, Nathan detected a lighting issue where our normals seemed to want to "falloff" in a specific direction when lights were brought up close to the textures.
We were a bit stumped as to where it was coming from, until we did a standalone test and discovered that it might be the micro-normals or something related throwing a "division by 0" error while they are currently being unused. We'll have to check this once more tomorrow.
Micah
Today Micah experimented with some X-Wing laser cannons and a "roll-cage" cockpit, while working with Terah's texturing and normalizing of new prefabs!
Exciting!

Important Mods and Addons Update!
We did some tests with mods and add-ons, and ultimately concluded that it'll be best to hold off an in-game automatic mod solution until a bit further down the road.
The method we were going to use would require too much downtime on our end as new features are put in, and we realized it'd almost be easier for everyone to just copy and paste the Blockade Runner folder when experimenting with modding.
An integrated solution may be too early, but an external app to organize and install mods & addons is still a very viable option, so we'll be leaving the mods and addons folders in-case anyone would like to help us take this one on
Terah
Restoring old test textures and re-building them with less layers, and more normal maps!
