Open Alpha Details! news - Battle of Tau Ceti

The Open Alpha for Battle of Tau Ceti will occur in a month at the end of March!

What this means is that the current Alpha build will be freely downloadable and fully playable. It will include one game mode, all the ships (models are still placeholders), and all the abilities. Servers are player run so there wont be any restrictions. Expect a few bugs as the game is still in development and a little rough around the edges but I'm hoping this can turn into some great feedback to help improve the game as it goes forward.

In the weeks up until the alpha release I will also be running a weekly playtest on Wednesday evenings (EST) and stream it on TwitchTV (Twitch.tv)! This will be an opportunity to see the game in its current state so come check it out.

There's still a lot of work to do before the release but I'm excited to be finally putting the game out there (even if in a rough state) and I hope you are too!
