Ballistick is an homage to the stick figure flash videos of the early 2000’s. It combines tactical realism and over-the-top violence to capture the absurdity of the era. The player will navigate multiple planes of two dimensional combat as they gun their way to the objective. Be sure to take cover when the gun runs dry, because a reload isn't just a click away. Each action of the reload sequence requires input from the player, from pulling out magazines to chambering rounds. The player will even have to pump shotguns and pull the pin out of grenades. Ballistick is reexamining the way we design gun mechanics. So keep your head down, and stick it to 'em.

Ballistick has just been entered into the Boston Festival for Indie Games and now we are looking for feedback on our proof of concept. Ballistick is a side-scrolling tactical shooter that is meant to revive the glory of the 2000's stick death fad. If you enjoyed the gory, over-the-top violence of these videos then we are certain you love this game.

If you have never even heard of these stick videos then we are certain you will be intrigued by our game's new take on conventional firearm combat. We are trying to redefine how games approach gun mechanics. Instead of simply hitting the R button and having the character perform all of the actions for you, in Ballistick, you must perform all of the actions yourself. Drop the clip, choose one from your pack, insert the clip, and rack the slide. All of these steps make planning your actions much more important than simply running in and firing.

As of now, Ballistick is in the proof of concept stage and we need your help to guide us towards alpha. We have dozens of features we want to add but would like feedback as early on as possible. Download Ballistick today and tell us what you think!
