Release Platform? Thread - Aperture Birds

Hi all, I wanted to get your guys opinion on where it would be easiest for you to receive the game and get following updates.
Choices are:

Built in updater- (MDU, specifically.) My personal preference. Updates are almost instantaneously live, but runs every time the game does. (shouldn't be too bad, though.)
Desura (#mce_temp_url#) Similar to steam, directly linked to mod-db. Closest to steam we can get without going through Valve.
Self Updating- No hand holding here, you'll have to check for updates yourself.
Steam- Dream of mine, possible, but unlikely. We'll see how it goes....

With any of the methods above, the game will be free of course, fyi.
